The Return of Tom Ford, Sexy, & Glamour!

I’m looking forward to seeing what the next decade will bring in the world of fashion, but for right now I’ll just focus on the present. Earlier this year, a reliable source told me that Tom Ford would be launching his own women’s line in 2011. I kept quiet about it because I have my own don’t ask, I won’t tell policy.

Tom Ford or Mr. Ford what he prefers to be called now couldn’t have picked a better time to stage his comeback. In fashion timing is everything. Circa 1995, he ushered out grunge and minimalism with his first collection at Gucci. The trendy logo wearing Gucci girl may be a thing of the past, but for those longing for the design aesthetic that he sent down the runway during his tenure at YSL, you will not be disappointed.

Glamour!!!!! Making women look and feel glamorous is what he does best. Ladies, I think Mr. Ford has brought sexy back and his presence will certainly be missed. Welcome back Mr. Ford.

My favorite picks from his spring 2011 collection.
